About Nathan Brought
Dr. Nathan Brought leads the Southern Plastic & Reconstructive Surgical Institute in Franklin, Tennessee. Raised in rural central Pennsylvania, he earned his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a five-year general surgery residency in the Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, followed by a two-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency through Ohio University at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, training at Grant Medical Center and Ohio State University. His experience spans cosmetic surgery, trauma, breast reconstruction, burn surgery, hand surgery, microvascular surgery and maxillofacial reconstruction.
