About Munique Maia
Dr. Munique Maia is a Harvard-fellowship trained, board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder and medical director of Maia Plastic Surgery in Tysons Corner, Virginia. She specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, including the deep plane facelift, and has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, Forbes, Northern Virginia Magazine, The Washingtonian, Arlington Magazine and Modern Luxury DC. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Aesthetic Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is a dedicated researcher with over 50 authored articles, abstracts and book chapters, and received the ASPS Outstanding Paper Award and a Best Paper Award for research in cosmetic breast surgery. She served as associate editor for a global plastic surgery book on neck rejuvenation and teaches residents, medical students and physician assistants.
