About Michael Salzhauer

Michael Salzhauer, MD, FACS is the founder and lead surgeon of Dr. Miami Plastic Surgery in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, with more than twenty-five years of experience in plastic surgery. He was educated at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and trained in plastic surgery while on staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, continuing his training through the University of Miami Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His practice centres on body and breast surgery — Brazilian butt lift, tummy tuck, mommy makeover, liposuction, breast augmentation, lift and reduction — with the site noting particular recognition for body contouring and rhinoplasty. Widely known as Dr. Miami, he was the subject of the 2017 WE tv docuseries Dr. Miami and the 2021 discovery+ documentary They Call Me Dr. Miami.
