About Michael Gentile
A native of upstate New York, Dr. Michael A. Gentile received his undergraduate education from the University of Rochester and, after being awarded a Navy Health Professions Scholarship, attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, obtaining his DMD in 2003. He completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of North Carolina in 2007 and then served a 12-year career as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the U.S. Navy, including teaching at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and serving as program director of the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL in 2014. He currently serves on the examination committee for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
