About Michael Brandon Freeman
Dr. Brandon Freeman is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has practiced in Bakersfield since joining Kern Medical in 2009, where he serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery and Facial Trauma. He also oversees the Grossman Burn Center at San Joaquin Community Hospital, managing complex burn treatment and reconstruction. He earned his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed internship and residency at Brown University, with additional training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, and Royal Adelaide and Womens and Childrens Hospitals in South Australia. He describes himself as a broad-based plastic surgeon caring for burns, hand injuries, craniofacial trauma and reconstruction alongside aesthetic patients. He is involved with Doctors Without Borders and has done medical mission work.
