About Masoud Saman
Dr. Masoud Saman is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the namesake founder of Saman Facial Plastic Surgery on Central Park South, Manhattan. He came to aesthetics from reconstruction, having spent years rebuilding faces after cancer and trauma, and is a former director of head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstruction. His practice is deliberately narrow, devoted to rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation, and he has performed over 7,000 facial, head, and neck procedures. He is internationally recognized in preservation and ultrasonic rhinoplasty and has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters plus the book The Smart Guide to Rhinoplasty. He co-founded Chance to Smile in 2007, providing pro bono reconstructive surgery for underserved patients.
