About Mark Gaon

Dr. Mark Gaon is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. A Newport Beach native, he is a third-generation physician and second-generation plastic surgeon, and founded Gaon Plastic Surgery to provide a greater level of individualized care. He began his career as a reconstructive surgeon in Maryland before returning to the West Coast to focus on breast reconstruction and facial procedures. Following his philosophy that no key fits every lock, he develops a personalized treatment plan for each patient based on anatomy, aesthetic goals and lifestyle. The practice states patients are never handed off to surgical assistants before, during, or after their procedures.
