About Mark E. Chariker

Mark E. Chariker, MD, FACS is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, where he has practised for more than 40 years serving patients throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. He treats women, men and children, and his expertise spans aesthetic surgery of the breast, face and body; paediatric reconstructive and craniofacial surgery; paediatric and adult hand surgery; and breast reconstruction and skin cancer repair. Cosmetic procedures include breast augmentation and lift, facelift, eyelid and brow lifts, rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, gynecomastia correction, tummy tuck and liposuction. Reconstructive work includes cleft lip and palate repair, craniosynostosis, vascular lesions and pigmented birthmarks, ear reconstruction, syndactyly correction, Mohs defect repair and post-trauma scar revision. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society. He operates at Louisville Surgery Center, a Medicare-approved outpatient facility near his office.
