About Lohith Bose
Dr. Lohith Bose, MD, FACS was born and raised in Vijayawada, India, and moved to the United States at age 15. He obtained his bachelors degree in electrical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology before pursuing medical training at Ross University School of Medicine, where a medical mission to the Philippines inspired him to become a surgeon. He completed five years of general surgery training at the State University of New York at Buffalo, serving as chief resident in his final year and earning the Gold Star Resident of the Year Award in Pediatric Surgery and the Best Resident Teacher Award in 2011. He then spent three years training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, again serving as chief resident. In 2015 he received the Magis Star Award for Exceptionalism in Patient Care.
