About Liana Proffer
Dr. Liana Proffer is a graduate of Texas A&M University and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She interned at the Naval Hospital in San Diego while active duty in the US Navy for five years, then returned to UTHSCSA for her dermatology residency, followed by a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Surgical Dermatology fellowship in Columbus, OH at the Center for Surgical Dermatology. She has been practicing in Amarillo for 16 years as of September 2022 and has performed over 17,000 Mohs surgery cases. She specializes in the surgical treatment of skin cancer.
