About Kristopher Shewmake
Kris Shewmake, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the founder of Shewmake Plastic Surgery. He earned his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1984, completed his general surgery residency at UAMS, his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and a craniomaxillofacial fellowship at UCLA. He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at UAMS and Arkansas Children's Hospital before opening his practice in 1996. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at UAMS.
