John Tu, MD

About John Tu

John Tu, MD is the medical director of Dermatology Associates of Rochester and a dermatologist certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is the principal investigator for Skin Search, the practice's clinical research facility, and also serves as an attending dermatologist at Rochester General Hospital. He previously held a faculty appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and holds master's degrees in microbiology and immunology and in optics. His interests include laser and light-based diagnostics, medical and surgical treatment of skin cancer, and dermatology in skin of color.
