About John Kim

John Y.S. Kim, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Northwestern Plastic Surgery in Chicago and Clinical Director of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, and an attending surgeon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital. His practice spans cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring including tummy tuck, liposuction and arm and thigh lifts, facial plastic surgery, neuromodulator and filler injectables, microsurgery and post-cancer reconstruction. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and holds an MD and an MA in English from Stanford University. He holds several medical device patents, sits on the editorial board of Annals of Plastic Surgery, and has published more than 100 articles and book chapters.
