About Joel Studin

Dr. Joel Studin is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Roslyn, New York, who has devoted more than three decades exclusively to cosmetic surgery, performing over 15,000 procedures. He is an internationally recognized innovator holding more than 40 patents in 26 countries, including scar-management technologies used worldwide, and is a pioneer in laser-assisted facelift and body-contouring techniques. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, completed training in General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and NYU Medical Center, and completed laser surgery training at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
