About Jason Ko

Jason Hyunsuk Ko, MD is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Northwestern Plastic Surgery in Chicago who specializes in brachial plexus reconstruction and functional limb restoration, including targeted muscle reinnervation. He has served as an assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, and won the Resident Teaching Award and Chief Residents Award in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington. He earned his undergraduate degree and MD from Duke University, completed plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Northwestern's McGaw Medical Center, and a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.
