Dr. James M. Nachbar is a plastic surgeon in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He trained in surgery at the University of Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident, then completed fellowships in microsurgery, hand surgery, and burns and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Virginia, again serving as Chief Resident. He later joined the University of New Mexico faculty, where he became Chief of Plastic Surgery and Program Director of its accredited plastic surgery residency. His Scottsdale practice covers cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, face, and skin, and he has chaired the Emerging Trends Committee of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
