About James Koehler
Dr. James Koehler is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon and the owner of Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery in Fairhope, Alabama, where he has been in private practice since 2014. In 2024 he also co-founded Olympus Cosmetic Surgery, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. He earned his MD magna cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, following a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. He completed a general surgery internship and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Alabama, a facial cosmetic surgery fellowship at UAB, and a general cosmetic surgery fellowship at Tulsa Surgical Arts. He serves as President-Elect of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and Chairman of the AACS Fellowship Training Committee.
