About James Fletcher
Dr. James Fletcher is a board-certified plastic surgeon with added qualifications from the board of Hand Surgery, practicing at Vanguard Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He formerly served as Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Minnesota and held appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery there. He completed medical school at St. Louis University in 1995, trained in general and plastic surgery at Brown University where he was named Intern of the Year, and completed an additional year at Duke University in hand and microsurgery. He won the Tiffany award for the best cosmetic surgery paper at the Aesthetic Society meeting and has multiple publications, book chapters and invited lectures.
