About James Chan
Dr. James Chan is a Stanford-trained, double board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in comprehensive and minimally invasive facial aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He earned his BA in biological science at the University of Chicago, graduated with honors, and attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his surgical residency in otolaryngology at the Cleveland Clinic and a one-year facial plastic surgery fellowship at Stanford University. He has served as an assistant clinical professor at Stanford University Medical Center and as an attending surgeon at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center. Since relocating to the Portland area in 2009 he has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2010.
