About Iliana Sweis
Iliana Sweis, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the sole surgeon at North Shore Center for Plastic Surgery in Northbrook, Illinois. She earned her medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, completed a general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and returned to Northwestern for her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a past president of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons. She serves as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago and maintains surgical privileges at several Chicago-area hospitals. She was awarded Jordan's Medal of Highest Distinction by King Hussein I in 1996 for volunteer work, holds patents, and is the author of the book "Outsmarting Mother Nature."
