About George Zavitsanos
Dr. Zavitsanos has been practicing aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in Fort Washington and Philadelphia since 1996. He completed his Plastic Surgery training at Duke University with an additional Fellowship in Hand Surgery from the University of Louisville, following a General Surgery Residency at Graduate Hospital in affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He serves as Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division within Jefferson Hospital Northeast Division and maintains privileges at Abington Memorial, Chestnut Hill, Albert Einstein Medical Center and Holy Redeemer Hospital. He has been a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor since 2014.
