About J. Garrett Harper
Dr. Garrett Harper received his bachelor''s degree from the University of Georgia Honors Program and attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, where he served as class president and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. After general surgery residency he was selected to train in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Emory University, and as a resident he was awarded a travel scholarship by the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation that sent him to Paris, France to study under internationally recognized surgeons. He has authored numerous book chapters and journal articles and has lectured at international and national symposiums, including live surgical demonstrations at the Atlanta Breast Symposium. He has been in the Charlotte area since 2012 and is known for cosmetic breast and body surgery, revisionary breast surgery, cosmetic surgery after weight loss, and breast reconstruction for breast cancer patients. The practice operates under his leadership.
