About G. Peter Fakhre

Dr. G. Peter Fakhre is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and one of a small number of plastic surgeons in the Tampa Bay area who is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is known for aesthetic treatment of the face, breasts, and body. During general surgery training at the Mayo Clinic he scored in the 98th percentile on the American Board of Surgery in-training exam, served as chief resident, and received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Mayo Clinic Medical School. He trained in plastic surgery at The Methodist Hospital, where he again served as chief resident, and volunteered on a cleft lip and palate surgical mission to Guatemala with Operation San Jose. He scored in the 99th percentile among all plastic surgeons on the American Board of Plastic Surgery written examination in plastic surgery of the breast.
