About Ewa Timek
Ewa Komorowska-Timek, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has nearly 20 years of clinical experience in cosmetic, reconstructive and microsurgical procedures. She established Advanced Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, described as locally owned and privately operated under her leadership. She runs the practice Center for Excellence in Fat Grafting and performs Lipo 360, facial and body fat transfer, Brazilian Butt Lifts and natural augmentation. She is a leader in reconstructive microsurgical techniques including DIEP, SIEA and LICAP flap breast reconstruction, and was among the first surgeons in the nation to perform microsurgical operations to treat lymphedema. She serves as Associate Editor for the Annals of Plastic Surgery and as Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
