Dr. Dunya Atisha is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon recognized for her refined aesthetic sensibility and exceptional technical precision. As the founder of Atisha Plastic Surgery, she has built a practice dedicated to delivering highly individualized, natural-appearing results through a blend of artistry and surgical expertise. She is widely regarded for her expertise in breast and facial aesthetics and is also a recognized leader in breast and cancer reconstruction, with particular expertise in microsurgical techniques such as DIEP flap reconstruction. Prior to founding her private practice, Dr. Atisha served as Director of Microsurgery and Breast Reconstruction at Henry Ford Health and held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center. She is a highly published author who considers herself a quality-of-life surgeon.
