About Deepak Raja

Deepak Raja, MD is an ophthalmologist at Remagin in Windermere, Florida, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery and cornea and external disease. A native of Englewood, Florida, he earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University and his MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute, and a cornea and external disease fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and served two years as a clinical instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Department Chairman of Ophthalmology for Orlando Health.
