Dr. David Mateo de Acosta Andino is a board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery) at John W. Tyrone, MD, PLLC, Plastic Surgery in Gainesville, Florida. A native of Havana, Cuba, he earned his MD from La Salle University in Mexico City, completed a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Peoria where he served as Chief Resident, and completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019.
