About Darrick E. Antell
Dr. Darrick Antell is a plastic surgeon in NYC who specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery and is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Trained at Stanford and Cornell, he is one of the few plastic surgeons to also hold a dental degree, giving him distinct expertise in facial anatomy. His career spans over twenty years and more than ten thousand procedures, guided by his philosophy that plastic surgery should whisper, not scream. He conducted a landmark study on the effects of sun, stress, and smoking on aging in identical twins that was featured at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History as part of the Human Genome Exhibit. Before his retirement, Dr. Randolph H. Guthrie, Jr., MD, who mentored and trained him at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, entrusted Dr. Antell with his practice.
