About Daniel Murariu
Daniel Murariu, MD, MPH, MBA, FACS is a double board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he leads Hawaii Aesthetics & Robotic Plastic Surgery. He received his MD and MPH from Tulane University in New Orleans, completed a general surgery residency at the University of Hawaii, trained in plastic surgery at the University of Virginia, and completed a microsurgery fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with particular interest in DaVinci robotic reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, complex abdominal wall reconstruction and head, neck and breast microsurgery. He has published several dozen journal articles and book chapters and is a peer reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He previously served as Director of Microsurgery and Lymphatic Surgery at Allegheny Health Network and as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
