About Daniel A. Medalie

Dr. Daniel A. Medalie is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice in Beachwood, Ohio. He graduated from Harvard University, studied art for a year at Parsons School of Design and the Art Students League in New York City, then attended Cornell University Medical College. He trained at the University of Pittsburgh for six years of general and plastic surgery residency plus two additional years of research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Burn Institute. He has served as assistant professor at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University since 2002, was Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland VA Medical Center from 2002 to 2006, and was full-time faculty at MetroHealth Medical Center from 2006 to 2016. Since 2009 he has consistently been voted by Best Doctors, Inc. as one of the best plastic surgeons in America and has been named a US News/Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
