About Cory Bovenzi
Dr. Cory D. Bovenzi is double board-certified in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and fellowship trained in facial plastic surgery, and now leads Smith Cosmetic Surgery following Dr. Brent Smith's retirement. He completed medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and a facial plastic surgery fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. He has performed more than 5,000 facial surgeries and authored over thirty peer-reviewed publications and presentations, including a widely cited meta-analysis on tranexamic acid use in facelift surgery. In addition to surgery, he personally performs injectables and laser treatments in the practice's Medical Aesthetic Center.
