About Christopher J. Micallef

Dr. Christopher J. Micallef, FACS is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery, 2022; American Board of Surgery, Diplomate, 2019; FACS 2023). He earned his D.O. from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed general surgery training at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and finished his plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served over 15 years in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel, including as Medical Director of the 320th Special Tactics Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan. He currently serves as staff surgeon with the 959th Surgical Operations Squadron at Brooke Army Medical Center and as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is the founder, owner, and medical director of Micallef Plastic Surgery & MedSpa and holds membership in ASPS, The Aesthetic Society, ISAPS, and the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons.
