About Dr. Cedric Hunter

Dr. Cedric Hunter is a board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery) at Amelia Aesthetics. He earned his MD from Duke University School of Medicine as a Dean's Tuition Scholar and his BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor from UNC Chapel Hill with Highest Honors. He completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center and a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He formerly served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, including as Microsurgery Program Director. He holds hospital privileges at Duke Raleigh Hospital and is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, focused on breast and body contouring.
