About Carlos Rivera-Serrano
Dr. Carlos Rivera-Serrano is a US-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with advanced fellowship training in Asia and Europe, having completed two surgical residencies and two fellowships. Born in Colombia, he trained in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and in Plastic Surgery at the University of Florida, followed by a Craniofacial Surgery/Microsurgery Fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and a Microsurgery Fellowship at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. He has over eight years of independent plastic surgery experience. He has written more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and chapters and presented at more than 40 regional, national, and international meetings.
