About Brett Kotlus

Brett Kotlus, MD, FACS is a cosmetic oculofacial plastic surgeon who has run his own practice in New York City since 2014, after eight years practicing in a Midwest cosmetic surgery office. He holds a master's degree in genetics from Pennsylvania State University and a medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, completed residency at the North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed accredited fellowships in both oculofacial plastic surgery and general cosmetic surgery in Tucson, Arizona. He is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where he is a past Board Trustee. His practice covers surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyes and face, and he is affiliated with New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He holds a U.S. patent for a 3D custom implant design system and has published 38 clinical articles.
