About Benjamin Light
Ben Light, MD, FACS is a facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Light Facial Plastic Surgery in Decatur, Alabama. His bio page states certification by both the American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and completed a head and neck surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with Dr. Dean Toriumi in Chicago. He previously served as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Director of the University Aesthetic Center at the University of Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a published author and national lecturer on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation.
