About Barry Ginsburg
Dr. Barry Ginsburg is the founder of Ginsburg Dermatology Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1974, completed a pediatric internship at Children's Hospital of Birmingham, and trained in dermatology residency at UAB. He began practicing cosmetic surgery in the mid-1980s and has performed several thousand liposuction procedures since introducing local-anesthesia liposuction to his Birmingham practice in 1996. He now performs chemical peels, fractional laser resurfacing, injectable fillers such as Restylane, neurotoxins including Dysport and Botox, and fat transfer for breast and buttock augmentation. He is a certified Bellafill trainer and an early adopter of triplex laser liposuction and Smart Lipo technology.
