About Amelia K. Hausauer
Amelia K. Hausauer, MD, FAAD is the dermatologist at Aesthetx, practicing at its Menlo Park and Los Gatos offices in California, and focuses on medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology. She is an author and researcher in platelet-rich plasma and microneedling, served as principal investigator of a study of PRP for male and female pattern hair loss, and is chief editor and contributing author of the textbook PRP and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine. She earned a BA with highest honors in Human Biology from Stanford and her MD from UCSF, completed a dermatology residency at NYU's Ronald O.
