Dr. Bill Woods was born and raised in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi and graduated from Ole Miss in 1974. He served in the United States Navy as an ASW Officer, CIC Officer and Navigator aboard the USS DAVIS (DD-937). He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1982 where he served as clinical instructor in the acute illness and hygiene departments. Dr. Woods has been practicing general dentistry in Meridian for 25 years with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He received his postdoctoral training in implant dentistry from the AAID at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in 2003.
