About Mitchell Dental Clinic

Upon completing undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, Dr. David Mitchell attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1992. Since that time, Dr. Mitchell has made a study of how to operate a successful dental practice. He has taken numerous continuing education hours both on the clinical and business side of dentistry. Dr. Mitchell has worked with practice management coaches, sports psychologists, equipment designers and ergonomic process specialists to learn how to run an excellent business. In 2008, Dr. Mitchell was named Doctor of the Year by the Scheduling Institute in Atlanta. Dr. David Mitchell lives in Madison, Mississippi with his wife, Carmen and four children, Colby, Mali, Cade and Chesney. In addition to lots of family time and traveling, his hobbies include snow skiing, running, and biking. Dr. Heather Vanpelt finished both high school and college in Columbus, MS.
