About The Eye Center

The Eye Center is a multi-location ophthalmology and eye-care practice serving the Eugene, Florence, and Newport areas of Oregon. Its physicians provide comprehensive eye care including cataract surgery, LASIK and other refractive procedures, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy management, and cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery. The practice operates its own optical shop and surgical technology, including femtosecond laser and excimer laser platforms for refractive surgery. Founding physician Dr. John Haines has led charity cataract-surgery missions abroad through the Give Me Sight Foundation, which he established in 2011.
