John H. Haines, MD

About John H. Haines

Dr. John Haines is an ophthalmologist and founding physician of The Eye Center in Eugene, Oregon. Born in Malaysia to missionary parents, he earned his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina (Alpha Omega Alpha) and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Moran Eye Center, University of Utah. He founded the Give Me Sight Foundation in 2011, which provides charity cataract-surgery missions abroad, and was the subject of the documentary film "Give Me Sight."
