The practice was built on a different operating model than the multi-physician groups that dominate the Houston ophthalmology market: one board-certified surgeon, one set of standards, and one continuous relationship with every patient. Dr. Geoffrey Collett, MD evaluates your eyes, recommends a treatment, performs the procedure himself when surgery is appropriate, and oversees your follow-up. The same physician you meet at your first visit is the one in the operating room and the one greeting you at one-day, one-week, and one-month post-operative checks. Our focus is medical and surgical eye care for adults. The conditions we evaluate and manage include: Cataracts - clouding of the natural lens, treated with phacoemulsification cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant.
