Pura Vida Med Spa is a physician-led medical spa founded in 2007 by Leslie Apgar, MD in Howard County, Maryland, with locations in Fulton (flagship, Maple Lawn) and Marriottsville. Dr. Apgar, board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, became sole owner and medical director in 2013 and oversees treatments across both sites. The practice offers injectables, laser and skin treatments, body and hair services, medical weight loss, hormone therapy, IV therapy, and specialty wellness services. It has treated over 7,000 patients since 2008.
