Dr. Leslie Apgar is the founder and medical director of Pura Vida Med Spa, board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from Washington State University's Honors Program, attended Penn State for medical school, and completed her OB/GYN residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center before relocating to Howard County, MD in 2000. She founded Pura Vida in 2007, became sole owner and medical director in 2013, and retired from gynecologic surgery in 2017 to focus on the med spa.
