OC MedDerm is a dermatology practice in Irvine, California, founded and led by Dr. Parvin Shafa, and also operating under its legacy Irvineskin brand. The practice covers three service lines - medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology - from a single office on Waterworks Way serving Orange County. Cosmetic offerings include Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, a full range of dermal fillers, Kybella, PDO thread lifts, fractional CO2 and plasma laser resurfacing, IPL photofacials, chemical peels, PRP with microneedling, laser hair removal, and sclerotherapy. Surgical dermatology covers mole and cyst removal, pinch blepharoplasty, earlobe repair, xanthelasma and syringoma removal, keloid treatment, and skin cancer excision. Dr. Shafa trained in dermatology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, continued at UC Irvine, and completed her residency at Loma Linda University in 1995.
