Michael S. Beckenstein, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who established his Birmingham, Alabama practice in 1999. He specializes in breast enhancement (augmentation, lift, reduction, and reconstruction), body contouring, and facial procedures, and performs over 600 breast, cosmetic, and reconstructive cases annually. Dr. Beckenstein is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society. His practice, located in Birmingham, also serves patients from Huntsville, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, and throughout Alabama. He founded the Alabama Breast Cancer Cooperative, a resource pairing oncology care with reconstructive support for breast cancer patients.
