Koch Facial Plastic Surgery is a solo facial plastic surgery practice in San Mateo, California, founded and led by R. James Koch, MD. Dr. Koch is a Stanford-trained, double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, and formerly served as Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery at Stanford, where he also directed its facial plastic surgery fellowship and wound healing laboratory. He is known for popularizing the in-office ("awake") facelift technique and has trained many other physicians in the method. The practice offers facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, neck lift, and Botox and dermal filler injections, among other facial procedures.
