About Katzen Eye Group

Katzen Eye Group is an ophthalmology practice founded in 1968 by Jack Katzen, MD in Baltimore, Maryland, and now operating from six locations across the Baltimore area including Lutherville, Rosedale, Abingdon, Reisterstown, and Towson. The group has grown to roughly 30 clinicians and was the first practice in Maryland to use intraocular lens implants in surgery. Alongside cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma, and retina care, it runs a cosmetic division, Aesthetics by Katzen, offering Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, and laser skin and hair treatments. Usiwoma Abugo, MD serves as Director of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetics, performing cosmetic and functional eyelid and brow surgery.
