Nurse Practitioner Meredith Shelton, established The Body Place of Maryland in 2021. Meredith began her 13-year career in medicine as an Emergency Department RN, specializing in Pediatrics. She then furthered her education, fueled by a desire to do more for her patients. She has now been a Nurse Practitioner for the past seven years. During her clinical time she developed a passion for a more natural and integrative approach to medicine. Three years ago she founded Nature’s Therapy, a successful integrative medical practice with a focus on medical cannabis. In addition, Meredith began offering esthetics services and hormone optimization via a second company: La Mer Esthetics. She is pleased, now, to have launched The Body Place: where patients can receive care that addresses their needs, without the restrictions of corporate medicine. At The Body Place, the goal is to combine the integrative medical approach of Nature’s Therapy with La Mer Esthetics, offering patients services to treat
